Come and sample some of the finest food in Somerset.
Our menus change with the seasons as we only use locally sourced meats, fish and vegetables. In addition to the menu we also offer "Chef's specials" on the blackboards so be sure to check. We aim to satisfy customers with generous portions of tasty local food at reasonable prices.
We are open for lunch 12-2.30 and dinner 7-8.30 Monday to Saturday. On Sunday we serve a massively popular Farmers traditional roast with a choice of local meats, with two sittings of 12.15 and 2.15pm. On Sunday evening we have a quiz night with which a brain power boosting Curry or Chilli is served. We offer an additional midweek menu which is excellent value for money with a choice of 2 or 3 courses.

LUNCH MENU:
Ring of Cumberland sausage served with classic bubble "n" squeak with onion gravy £8.75
Beer battered cod fillet deep fried served with tartar sauce, hand cut chips, peas and salad garnish £9.25
Home cooked ham, two fresh free range eggs and hand cut chips £8.50
DINNER MENU
Salmon steak baked with a crust of peppers sun dried tomatoes, olives and garlic breadcrumbs £13.95
Half a local duck served crisp and tender with a delicious plum and ginger sauce £15.95
Lamb rump topped with herbs and rosemary served with a shallot, mushroom and pancetta sauce £15.95
All the above is served with a choice of potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
HOMEMADE PUDDINGS
Apple Pie or treacle tart, served with a choice of ice-cream, clotted cream or custard.
Homemade meringue served with honeycomb ice-cream topped with clotted cream drizzled with honey.
