The restaurant area is traditional and welcoming, with oak beams and a cosy atmosphere. We can offer secluded tables for two for that intimate meal, and we also cater for parties of up to 40 covers, for which we would appreciate all the notice you can give us. We are a traditional family run pub, and aim to please – whatever your dining requirements, call us, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you as with a little warning we can adjust many of our dishes to your particular needs. The Farmer’s Arms Lunch Menu

Please book a table to avoid disappointment especially at weekends.

LUNCH MENU:

  • Ring of Cumberland sausage served with classic bubble "n" squeak with onion gravy £9.25
  • Beer battered cod fillet deep fried served with tartar sauce, hand cut chips, peas and salad garnish £10.25
  • Home cooked ham, two fresh free range eggs and hand cut chips £9.25

DINNER MENU

  • Salmon fillet stuffed with smoked salmon & spinach mousse wrapped in filo pastry £14.75
  • Half a local duck served crisp and tender with a delicious plum and ginger sauce £16.25
  • Lamb rump topped with herbs and rosemary served with a shallot, mushroom and pancetta sauce £15.95
  • All the above is served with a choice of potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

HOMEMADE PUDDINGS

  • Apple Crumble or treacle tart, served with a choice of ice-cream, clotted cream or custard.
