Pat and her Mother have run The Farmer’s Arms since the turn of the century (10 years now), and you could say that they have ‘settled in nicely’. They both work hard and enjoy the life, and are the perfect hosts. Pat has tremendous experience in the retail industry, having worked for Next for many years, and has now swapped hosiery for hostelry. Barry the chef is a mainstay of the pub. He came in and made his mark on the restaurant menu, which remains in his capable hands to the present time. When you see a recommendation from him in the menus, you’d be well advised to try it. Bar staff and restaurant staff are all well versed in the art of West Country hospitality, and are there to make sure your visit to The Farmer’s Arms is as pleasant and enjoyable as you could wish for.

"...Food is amazing, with good service. A beautiful setting, keeping the old values of the country pub alive. A very friendly, clean country pub / restaurant with glorious gardens, not to be missed."
